Tripping Over Lies (Paperback)
by Dr. Mary N. Pangle
Tripping Over Lies is an autobiographical fiction about a young girl growing up in the deep
south in the early 1950's. Her family is both alcoholic and abusive. She
learns at a very early age that, if she is going to survive, she must take
matters into her own hands.
The story is interwoven into her adult life as she begins to discover, and
understand, some of the 'secrets' that perpetuated her childhood family
dysfunction.
It is a story of tremendous sadness, laced with the hope of 'beating the
odds' and coming out on the other side, somewhat intact.
