This tool helps to integrate product family formation with cell layout design by using the actual product routings
instead of transforming them into a 0-1 Product-Process Matrix. Unlike the method of Product-Process Matrix Analysis,
machine cells and product families can now be formed without sacrificing the directed material flow paths and manufacturing
precedences implicit in the product routings.
